HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I ORDER MY CAKE?
When ordering a wedding cake we advise giving as much notice as possible, to avoid disappointment, as dates during peak wedding season (May to September) can fill up quickly! However, this is just a guide and on some occasions, we will be able to accommodate last minute orders.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT AND WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
After your design consultation, we will email you a full quote. A £50 deposit will be required to secure your booking with the remaining balance due one month before delivery.
CAN I ‘SAVE THE DATE’?
If you would like us to make your wedding cake, but haven’t decided on the details for your wedding, you can save the date with us for £50. This deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your cake but is non-refundable and non-transferable if you cancel.
We work on a first come first served basis and no order is confirmed without a deposit or save the date payment.
CAN WE TRY YOUR CAKES BEFORE WE BOOK?
We like you to enjoy your cake tasting with your partner, in the comfort of your own home. Our tasting boxes are filled with your choice of three flavours. They are carefully packaged and dispatched via first class post to your address, allowing you to taste the cakes in the comfort of your own home in your own time.
Taster boxes are £10 plus £5 P&P. Tasters are complimentary for orders above £300 so the price of the Tasting Box (£10) will be deducted from your order once its placed. There is a limit of one complimentary box per order.

DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes! We deliver to venues in Surrey & surrounding areas. We will contact your venue in advance of your wedding to arrange the most convenient delivery and set up time, to ensure that everything runs smoothly on your special day. Please get in touch if you would like a delivery quote.
MY FRIEND / RELATIVE WANTS TO BAKE THE CAKE. WILL YOU DECORATE IT FOR ME?
Unfortunately we are not able to decorate cakes that aren’t baked by Laura's Pantry. Although we’re sure they are delicious, we cannot guarantee to you or your guests what it contains or prove where the ingredients were sourced. Should something then be wrong with the cake it could prove damaging to our reputation and business. If you’d like to serve a cake baked by a relative or a friend, we can decorate a dummy cake for display or make a cake topper for you.
CAN I COLLECT MY CAKE?
Cakes can be collected from GU1 (full address provided once order has been placed). Cakes will be boxed up and we will provide instructions on how to care for your cake.
We do not recommend collecting wedding or tiered cakes as tiered cakes are very heavy therefore we recommend the delivery set/up option. Naked/Semi-Naked cakes must be built at the venue.
We do not accept responsibility for any damage that may occur to the cake once it has been collected. A signature is required upon collection confirming that you have received the cake in a good condition.
CAN I PUT FRESH FLOWERS ON A CAKE?
Some people request that their wedding cake is decorated with fresh flowers. We can provide you with edible flower decoration or we can liaise with your florist. However, it will be your responsibility to ensure the flowers are food safe and free from pests, chemicals, dirt and other contaminants. We will not be liable for any contamination to your wedding cake that may arise from the misuse of fresh flowers.
Any inedible items must be removed before serving and we accept no responsibility for any harm these might cause.
CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
All requests for cancellation must be made in writing. If you cancel your order, the deposit will not refunded.
For wedding cakes, if a cancellation is received at short notice (within 6 weeks of delivery date), you will be charged in full as we are unlikely to be able to rebook the date at such short notice.
I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY CAKE WHAT DO I DO?
We want you to be happy with your cake and strive to achieve customer satisfaction. In the event that you are not happy with your cake please speak to us at the time of delivery and we will try to rectify any problems. After delivery, if you have comments or complaints please get in touch as soon as possible. Complaints should be made in writing within one week, and evidence of the faults should be provided. A refund will only be considered if the cake is returned to us within 24 hours so we can assess the nature of the complaint. Depending upon the fault with the cake, a maximum refund for the value of the cake may be made. Further compensation is not available.
